Days 2, 3, and 4

You get to surf your choice of spots in Jeffreys Bay. Our Surf School will assist you for 2 hours per day and help you with whatever you need. If you are a beginner, or intermediate or advanced surfer, we can accommodate you.

There are also a variety of other optional adventures available. We can take you on a game park drive. See https://www.sanparks.org/parks/addo/

or a Zipline adventure.See  http://www.tsitsikammaadventure.co.za/

 or sandboarding. See http://www.sandboarding.infojeffreysbay.com/

 or skydiving. See http://skydivejeffreysbay.co.za/

Day 5

We could get an early surf in Jeffreys before we pack up and leave JBay. There is a three hour drive down the famous Garden Route heading for Victoria Bay where we stay for the night. On the way, you may wish to stop off at Bloukrans Bridge and watch the bungy jumping, or even take a jump yourself!

See https://www.faceadrenalin.com/

Or visit the Tsitsikamma Koisan Villlage which is close by. See https://www.tsitsikamma.info/listing/tsitsikamma_khoisan_village

By late afternoon we get to Victoria Bay, and hopefully there’s time for a late surf at this classic little bay.

Day 6

We can catch a dawn surf at Vic Bay, if you want, or else get straight on the road heading towards Mossel Bay which is two hours’ drive. In this beautiful little town, there are a variety of surf spots. My favourite is Inner Pool- a very exciting wave that jacks up and breaks up to a hundred meters. Outer Pool can handle a bigger swell. Plenty of quaint little shops with olde world charm if you want to go exploring and buying  antique souvenirs! See https://www.visitmosselbay.co.za/

Day 7

If the surf is good, we can catch a dawnie at Mossels, or get straight on the road for the three hour drive to Cape Town. On the way through the beautiful town of Stellenbosch, we could stop off for a two hour tour of the Segway Wine Estate, if you want. If you are hanging for a surf, we can get to Long Beach in time for an afternoon session. My favourite beach break in South Africa. A long, looping left and a right hander that peaks up in the cold, cold deep green waters under the huge mountains across the bay. An unforgettable surf. We will probably organize a big bonfire that night and cook up some sizzling steaks and boerwors under the stars.

Day 8

If you are a diehard surfer like me, you will be waxing your board at dawn and deciding whether to surf at long beach again or taste Inner Kommetijie in a high tide 4 to five foot session or the Outer Kom if you can handle 8 foot plus waves.

See https://www.capepointroute.co.za/seeit-kommetjie.php

Alternatively, we could build your day differently. We could drive across the mountain at Chapman’s Peak

See https://www.chapmanspeakdrive.co.za/

and stop in at some of the quaint little beaches like Llandudno and Hout Bay. There’s an interesting fish market and a restaurant that serves delicious fish lunches with a variety of wines.

What about going up Table Mountain the cable car?

See https://www.tablemountain.net/

You’ll need an extra memory card for your camera and we could run out of time and have to do this trip the following day

We are still booked into our accommodation at Long Beach, so whichever way you choose your day, you still get the chance for a late afternoon surf session under the mountains.

Day 9

Just down the road is a classic spot called Noordhoek where the wave jacks up right next to the mountain.

If you are a city slicker, we can take the 25 km drive back towards Cape Town Central.

There are the optional extras of Two Oceans Aquarium. See https://www.aquarium.co.za/

Or the V&A Waterfront. Which is a hub for tourists .See

Or the variety of shops that adorn Old Cape Road. We can stop off wherever you fancy

Did I mention the jazz music scene which is hot in Cape Town

Day 10

We can probably squeeze in one more surf or one more sightseeing trip before we get you to the airport in time for your plane. I will take you a little bet that you will be thinking of contacting your airline to try and extend your trip, because we have done is just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe we can extend your trip for you for a few more golden days.

Elands Bay, for example is only two hours’ drive for the best and longest left hander in South Africa!
